Cricket at Ampthill Park this weekend - bar is open.

Dear Members

Club groundsman Martin Wythe and his team have done a great job over the last few days and subject to any further rain, cricket will start this weekend at the Park. On Saturday a Friendly XI will host a Luton Town & Indians Friendly XI starting at 1pm, whilst on Sunday Steppingley visit the Park with a 1.30 start. Adult nets will start at 6pm tomorrow (Wednesday evening).

Celebrity Sportsman's Dinner - Nigel Owens - Our main fundraising event this year takes place on Friday 5th May at Parkside Hall. We have one table left that can hold up to ten people. Tickets are just £50 per person including a meal and paid bar. Please do contact Ian Smith either via email at cricketsmithy@gmail.com or mobile 07880 850269.
We also require more volunteers on the night to help man the bar which generates all our profit. Its a fun night to help out and you get a meal on the night. Please contact Ian if you can help.

Quiz Night returns; our next quiz takes place on Friday 28th April at the Pavilion. Due to its popularity we only have space for two more teams of six. If you fancy a couple of hours testing your general knowledge and a drink or two - please contact Ian Smith cricketsmithy@gmail.com or mobile 07880 850269.
